Hi Everyone, and greetings from Jerusalem,
We had a most remarkable program last night with a group of Abrahamic Reunion Young Peacemakers. Really interesting, powerful, and emotionally impactive.
It shows how the strength that comes from hope is unmatchable – these kids really hope for a peaceful future in the Holy Land. It was really remarkable, they were so powerful in their passion for peace.
So I asked them, “What do you need from us?”
And they said, “We need more help, we need more meetings, we need more ‘budget’ (in their words), we need more money.”
Someone asked me what was the budget for the Abrahamic Reunion for last year – it was $182,000, and that includes paying four people. And I don’t know how we do it but if we could double that, we could be so much more effective.
What we could do with that sum of money is so much more than people do with 10 and 20 times that amount of money, because we really believe that if you bring people together in a peaceful, clear atmosphere, if you have helped them to greet each other, to know each other, to not be afraid of each other, the world can change, and certainly the Holy Land can.
So please, please, this is the end of our year, we have to raise a lot of money.
Please help us, it’s really working and peace is really possible.
