Dear Friends around the world who believe in, hope for, pray, and work for peace, for The Day After The War,
Even now, during the heartbreaking conflict, the peacemakers of the Abrahamic Reunion are constantly at work, giving support, de-escalating, and providing counsel, and pushing for an end to the violence.
Even now, as it seems the violence will never end, the Abrahamic Reunion is organizing two major events in October, a night of interfaith music in Tel Aviv, and an event in Nazareth, during the Week of St. Francis, to bring hundreds together for peace.
Even Now, the AR is preparing itself, maintaining and gaining new peace-builders in our community, gathering strength and resources for The Day After The War.

I spoke with Sheikh Ghassan Manasra, last week, the AR International Director. He made it abundantly clear to me that this is the AR’s greatest priorities – to end the violence and killing, and to be ready to make an impact the second that The Day After The War begins.
We continue to plan the leaders training, set to take place in the UK, that will provide critical trauma-informed reconciliation and peacebuilding skills and connections for 24 Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and Druze leaders.
We continue to organize in-person programs, when almost no other dialogue organization does so, such as the Young Peacebuilders Shavuot on Mt. Gerizim, Eid al-Adha in Daliat al-Carmel, and large-scale co-sponsored efforts such as “Believers”, and Interfaith March for Peace in Jerusalem.
We will continue to uphold the ideals and values of dialogue, nonviolence, and connection as the keystones to building real and lasting peace in Israel and Palestine – now, during the war, in the aftermath, when peacebuilding will be critically needed, when a dramatic societal shift can happen.
We need your support to make these programs, this October, a reality. We need your support to continue pushing at every level – grassroots and top connections – for immediate end to the violence, killing, and bloodshed. We need your support inwardly.
