Today we have a New Years’ appeal from Sheikh Ghassan, for our Year-End Gratitude Fundraising campaign. 

Dear Friends Around the World,
 
Today we are in the last steps of this year, and we are in the midst of a very great and holy end.
 
The Holy End of the Year is made sweet by Christmas, by Hanukah, and by the New Year, and by their sweetness we can remember to begin the New Year with sweet, soft, kind, and great steps to a great beginning.
 
In the Abrahamic Reunion we need you to support us to continue our great beginnings, so that we can continue to bring the people of the Holy Land together so that they can understand one another.
 
This is a great beginning to the year, for this beginning will be fighting fear, hatred, enmity, and ignorance. In this beginning we need to be planting the seeds of peace, the seeds of understanding, the seeds of feeling, and of connecting.
 
To start greatly, instead of anger we can spread patience; instead of fire we can spread light; instead of fear we can spread courage.
 
Your support will help us reduce the tension, war, and division that is spreading amongst all the people. We need to find all these elements and to create instead very great values from our backgrounds.
 
We are the most beautiful family, we are the Human Family, and your support can awaken in us the meaning and experience of connecting to our family.
 
Don’t leave us alone in this field, you are responsible as any one of us.
 
I wish you all and all peoples around the world a Happy New Year that will begin with peace, with understanding, with connection, with patience, and with light.
