Interfaith Shabbat and Vigil at ArtServe

November 16, 2018 @ 7:15 pm - 9:00 pm

Please join us for this Special Interfaith vigil and Shabbat service.  In addition to inviting in Shabbat, and basking in the light of the candles, Rabbi Marc, through TAO, is inviting JAM & ALL friends Imam Kamruz Hosein,  Father Michel Pugin, and Peacemakers of Abrahamic Reunion.  Also joining us will be Ted Brownstein of the Lake Worth Interfaith Network.

The Abrahamic Reunion is a team of religious and spiritual leaders – men, women, Jewish, Muslim, Christian and Druze – dedicated to uplifting human consciousness and building peace in the Holy Land by opening hearts to the love and wisdom of all spiritual traditions.  Its founding precepts include:
– To share the belief in one God by understanding one another’s religious customs, spiritual practices, prayers and values.
– To use religion as a force for peace.
– To infuse our efforts with prayer, meditation, and spiritual practice.
– To relate to all as though they are our own family.

Abrahamic Reunion has its USA headquarters in Sarasota, Florida and brought several members from the Holy Land to attend the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Toronto, November 1 – 7, 2018.  Their work concentration is on non-political, person to person seed peace building.  They will bring a short video and speak briefly of their efforts.  Music will also be shared.

Donations to help their work and travel will be gratefully accepted and can be given to Yona McWilliam, the coordinator of this event, to the TAO office earmarked for Abrahamic Reunion, or sent directly to the group.

Thank you, and looking forward to celebrating this very special and meaningful event together!
