Taya Ma Shere

Taya Mâ Shere is a ritual artist embracing embodied, earth-honoring devotion as liberatory spiritual practice.

She serves as a professor of Organic Multi-Religious Ritual at Starr King School for the Ministry, where she also co-convenes The House of Dates. She is founder of From the Deep, an emergent mystery school of earth, sea and soma.

Michael Macy

AR USA Board of Directors

Michael Macy served as a diplomat for the U.S. State Department serving in Delhi, London,Riyadh, Bamako, Tunis, Valetta, Kabul and Port au Prince among others, along with staffing 14 White House overseas trips. He retired as a Counselor in the Senior Foreign Service. Prior to the Foreign Service he worked as a trial attorney and a public relations executive. He holds a double BA in American Culture and Communications Arts from Antioch University, a JD from the University of Wisconsin and conducted post-graduate research at Aligarh Muslim Law School in India. He currently serves on the Boards of the Abrahamic Reunion, The Next Century Foundation and the Rosslyn Hill Unitarian Chapel.

Dear Friends of Peace,

The conflict in the Holy Land is breaking so many hearts right now, and no eye can be dry when aware of the level of pain, suffering, and destruction occurring in this sacred place.

It is incumbent on those who are in any way connected with the Abrahamic Reunion to use our most powerful force, which is praying together for peace and compassion.

We have continually affirmed that religions, coming together in the name of peace, are a most potent force in awakening us to our connection with each other.

It is time for us to unite and use the power of prayer to reawaken the sleeping consciousness of those who are calling for more pain and more destruction and ask them, through the power of peaceful prayer, to cease hostilities and affirm the relationship of all human beings in the family of humanity.

Towards that end we are initiating a prayer vigil every day to connect people of conscience with each other and magnetize the prayer for peace in unison with the will of God to create a truly holy and peaceful land.

We are all witnessing the powerful destruction and pain unleashed by human beings responding to emotional upheaval with violence.

The peace we are praying for is the power that can shift the balance in the Holy Land towards a gentle, humane, and just settlement amongst all aggrieved parties.
