Nearly 400 Attended our 18th Annual Multifaith Iftar in Daliat al-Carmel!

Hi Everyone,

I’m David Less, Chairman of the Board of the Abrahamic Reunion in North America.

I just want to share with you what we do, because it seems to be working. We, just a few days ago, had a dinner of all four faiths in honor of the end of Ramadan that day, called an Iftar Dinner, and we brought together almost 400 people from the different religions of the Holy Land.

This makes a great shift in the energy, bringing people together who normally would not come together. That’s our philosophy, that’s peacemaking, and it works, on a person-to-person basis.

We’ve done really simple things that have turned out to be incredible, bringing students together, families together.  And it is starting to make a difference, people are learning, not just to be respectful, they’ve been respectful of course, but learning to feel what the other is like, and the difference, the gulf, the concepts, the rumors seem to melt away.

So we need your help, we want to do more and more events. Peace is making people realize that the other is like them. Of course there are cultural differences, and other differences, but we try to bring people together to transcend those differences, help them raise above concepts, and fears, and really learn that we are a big human family.

Please help, please, we do this all on a very limited budget. We could do more and more and more if we had more money, so please help.

Thank you,
