Autumn Appeal Letter 2019
Dear Steadfast Supporters of Peace,
Thank you so much for your continuing support of the Abrahamic Reunion. Along with more than 500 others from around the world—people of different faiths, Imams, Ministers, and Rabbis— your support helps us bring together thousands of Muslims, Jews, Christians, and Druzim in the spirit of Reunion. You enable our message to reach thousands of others through our website, social media, and the press.
We ask now for your continuing support as we persevere amidst the most difficult challenges we have yet faced. We are grateful for every donation.
Throughout 2019, we have continued our peacemaking work focusing on delivering programs in the Holy Land. So far this year, your support has helped us to create nine programs, reaching an ever-increasing audience. These programs enable the cooling waters of peace to seep into the parched, politicized, and polarized Holy Land. Study after study on peacebuilding demonstrates that with regular events, returning participants become more deeply committed to creating peace. More than 50% of people who attend a second peacebuilding event continue to be active years later.[1]
This year, our stellar Program Directors, Mohammed Jammous and Abdelsalam Manasra, continue our legacy of consistency. They organized our 16th Annual Multifaith Iftar in Israel, and our second Annual Multifaith Iftar in
Palestine. Between now and the end of the year, they will host six more peace gatherings, including our Fifth National Peace Summit, which will bring together peacemakers from all Abrahamic traditions to support the Abrahamic Reunion’s work to bring peace to the Holy Land.
We are deeply grateful for your kind and steadfast support through the years! We look forward to bringing you detailed reports of our events in the coming weeks.
Peace ~ Salaam ~ Shalom!
