March Sarasota Text Study

This month’s text study will be on the topic “What We Can Share with the Other”
The Abrahamic Reunion is a global organization, made up of leaders and lay-people of different spiritual and religious traditions, who are doing the work of peacebuilding through nonviolent interfaith dialogue, prayer, and solidarity efforts.
Interfaith Text Study Meetings in Sarasota have been ongoing since 2015. They feature religious leaders sharing and speaking on texts and scriptures from their tradition on a common theme. This is followed by small group discussions of the texts, with snacks and beverages provided. It’s a great way to connect with people of other faiths and communities, learn about one another, and get to know each other through the common lens of faith.
This meeting will include teachings with Sheikh Ghassan Manasra (Muslim), Rev. Suzi Schadle & Rev Amy Zehe (Unity), Mary Homola (Catholic), Chaplain Bob Griffiths (Episcopal), Rev. Chris Miller (Sufi), and others.
